CLEAL Robert Charles 'Bob or 'Norm' Passed away peacefully on 7th April 2021, aged 84 Years. Dearly loved dad of Debbie, Jackie and Andy, father in law, grandad, great grandad and brother. Due to current restrictions a Private Funeral Service will be held. Family flowers only please, for those wishing to, donations for Combe St. Nicholas Football Club may be given through our website at www.bgibbsfuneralservices.co.uk or sent c/o B. Gibbs Funeral Services Ltd. The Manse, 28 Fore Street, Chard, TA20 1PT. Telephone 01460 66100. If donating by cheque, please make payable to Combe St. Nicholas Football Club. For those wishing to pay their last respects to Bob, he will be passing through Combe St. Nicholas at 10.15am on Wednesday 21st April on route to the crematorium. Apologies for only having just seen this sad news. Known Bob since I was around 3 years old when he was building the property at the back of our house on Combe Wood Lane. He would always shout across "Hello Curly!" and I would give him a wave back. I remember him wearing a blue cap and at the time I am pretty sure I thought he was Casey Jones. Many happy memories of Bob over the following years, many a laugh being had at cricket celebrating his famous "Backer" delivery. A great loss and please share my condolences with the whole family. You are all very much in our thoughts - David Liddiard, Nancy, Edie, Daisy and Tom.
