COLLINS Geoffrey Passed away peacefully on 31st January aged 74 after a long illness fought quietly with dignity and fortitude. A dearly loved husband to Jane, devoted father to Sarah, Anna and Victoria and their husbands Dan, Stuart and Matt. Much loved Grandpa to Leo, Alice, Chloe, Evie, Arthur and Felicity. A true gentleman and highly respected solicitor who spent his entire career serving the people of Ilminster with integrity and professionalism as Senior Partner at Baker & Duke, Ilminster. A private funeral will take place at The Minster, Ilminster. Donations in memory of Geoff are invited for Myeloma UK and Ward 9 at Musgrove Park Hospital and may be sent c/o A J Wakely and Sons, 7 West Street, Ilminster, Somerset, TA19 9AA tel: 01460 52576.

I met Geoff when my father, Jeff Duke, introduced him to Baker and Duke. I was 15 and had a little crush on him! He was such a kind, thoughtful and gentle man. Baker and Duke's success was based around honesty, old fashioned values and getting to know their clients well. They had years of loyal clients who trusted the Baker and Duke family and would return time and again. Geoff was a much loved member of this family. My father had the greatest respect for him. He was a rare breed of solicitor and a fabulous human being. He will be missed by so many he has helped and supported over the years. My heart goes out to you Jane and for the family.
