Joan Olds

OLDS Joan Passed away peacefully after a short illness at Musgrove Park Hospital on 29th July 2020 aged 88 years. A tireless supporter and stalwart of the RNLI in Ilminster, as well as a wife, mother and grandmother, she was much loved and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. There will be a service in Ilminster Cemetery on Friday 14th August 2020 preceded by a gathering in Ilminster Town Centre (outside of Dyers) at 10am to which all those wishing to pay their respects are welcome. My family and I were extremely sadden and upset to hear of the death of our dear friend Joan who we have known for around 40 years when we bought a house in Ilminster. We spent many happy hours with her and the wonderful Jim and shared their passion with anything to do with the RNLI. We had no idea that she had passed away. Rest in peace our wonderful friend. Lots of love.
