McALPINE (TAYLOR) Brenda Margaret Second daughter of the late Mr and Mrs James Taylor, formerly of Dowlish Wake died peacefully after a long illness on 28th October 2019, aged 66 years. Brenda is survived by her sons Ross, Niall and James and her sisters Sandra, Fiona and Sheena.

So sorry to see this. I was very good friends with Bren when we were at Taunton Technical College (now SCAT) between 1969 and 1971 where we did a Secretarial Course. She came on holiday with me and my family in 1970 to North Devon. We lost touch after our weddings. A few years ago, after some research, I found out that Bren had moved to Scotland and was ill but was unable to contact her as I had no address. Happy memories of a lovely 'girl' and condolences to all the family. Janet Gage (nee Miller) of Combe St Nicholas.
