BAKER Barbara (Barb) Passed away peacefully on 12th February 2019 aged 77 years. A dearly loved Wife to Bob, Mum to Craig and Claire and Nan to Steven and Samantha. She will be sadly missed by all family and friends. The funeral service will take place at St Peter's Church, Horton on Friday 1st March at 2pm followed by burial. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Cancer Research UK may be sent c/o A J Wakely & Sons 7 West St Ilminster TA19 9AA

We were sorry to learn of Barb's passing. We were neighbours across the street when we lived in Horton for 15 years. We have a lot of fond memories of Barb, (and Bob): having a friendly chat while gardening, meeting up at the post office, hearing about their mystery tours and short breaks, and one memory in particular, knocking on their door while participating in a village treasure hunt-can't remember what they supplied us with, but they came through! Barb and Bob made us "yanks" feel most welcome in the village of Horton. RIP Barb. With love, Bill and Debbi Reid
