MANY a Monty Python fan across the UK will be in raptures this weekend.
On Sunday, the Pythons’ surreal antics are being broadcast live from London’s O2 Arena to Somerset’s big screens.
John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin’s big reunion has been one of the most hotly anticipated of them all – the first in three decades.
Regarded as among the world’s finest ever comedians, the Python troupe influenced a generation with their revolutional comedy.
With infamous creations including Spam, the Dead Parrot Sketch and The Ministry of Silly Walks, the Python brand entered the British cultural sub-conscious long ago and became part of our national identity.
Check local cinema listings and ODEON branches to catch Monty Python's Somerset screenings.
