TRADITION and entertainment is the theme of the third Petherton Folk Fest, which kicks off on June 21.
Folk Fest, which nods to the first village fair in South Petherton of 1231, will feature performances by dancers and singers in the Market Square, the Blake Hall, St Peter & St Paul’s Church, the Brewers Arms pub, the David Hall and the infants’ school yard.
There will be moves from No Mean Feet, Beetlecrushers, Over Stratton Folk Dance Club, belly dancing by Eastern Promise, Maypole dancing by South Petherton Junior School and the Yetminster Irish Dancers.
