TOP jazz stars pay tribute to Benny Goodman.
SOME of the UK’s top jazz stars are paying tribute to Benny Goodman at The Meeting House in Ilminster on Friday.
They include Julian Marc Stringle, Dominic Ashworth, Roger Beaujolais and The Craig Milverton Trio.
Benny Goodman was known as the King of swing and most of his hits were with his big band.
But this is a tribute to his small groups, the clarinet playing of Benny Goodman, the vibraphone of Lionel Hampton, the guitar of Charlie Christian and piano of Teddy Wilson.
