THE Divertimento Oboe Quartet put on a fine show at The David Hall, South Petherton, on Thursday for a performance with an unusual but beautiful combination of instruments – oboe, violin, viola and cello.
Formed in 2004, the classical quartet consists of American-born oboist Lynn Carter, violinists Mary Eade and Andrew Gillett and cellist Vicky Evans.
Their performance was a mixture of styles from baroque to the jazz era.
