YEOVIL Town manager Gary Johnson is delighted that he has been able to draft in someone of Richard Hinds' experience.
Johnson was left hugely disappointed when the Football Association rejected the Glovers' appeal against the sending-off of Paul Huntington.
The skipper will now serve a three-match ban following his red card last weekened against Preston North End at Huish Park.
Johnson has now signed the 31-year-old Hinds on a short-term contract and he will go straight into the Yeovil squad for Saturday's match at Sheffield Wednesday, one of the player's former clubs.
And Johnson, speaking to Yeovil's official website, said: "After being left high and dry by the FA rejecting the appeal against Paul Huntington's red card, we were lucky to find someone of Richard's experience available.
"He has played more than 300 games and Saturday will be a huge game for him playing against one of his former clubs."
