YEOVIL Town striker Dean Bowditch has revealed that during his three-month injury lay-off he had a "severe" haircut - thanks to Glovers' team-mate George O'Callaghan.
Bowditch is just returning to playing action again following his nasty shoulder injury he sustained on the opening day of the season against Tranmere Rovers back in August.
But Bowditch, speaking in the club's official matchday programme The Glovers, said that part of the "recovery process" was to have a haircut - a severe crewcut which made him virtually unrecognisable.
"George O'Callaghan dared me to do it and ended up cutting it for me as well," he said.
"He did a very bad job, but it was something I wanted to do at the time.
"Thankfully it is now growing back!"
Yeovil Town's matchday programme, The Glovers, is priced £3 and is an excellent read.
