BOTH Chard Town and Ilminster Town are looking to take their midweek form into this weekend.

In the Toolstation Western League First Division, Chard were 1-0 winners at Welton Rovers on Tuesday night, and they face Oldland Abbotonians tomorrow (ko 3pm).

Tonight (ko 7.45pm), Chard Reserves are at home to Exeter side Heavitree United’s second string in Division 1 of the Macron Devon & Exeter League.

Taoufik Ben Salem, who picked up a booking on Saturday, now starts a three-game ban, beginning with the Oldland fixture tomorrow.

As for Ilminster, they boosted their Somerset County League Premier Division hopes last night by beating Staplegrove 4-0.

Despite having to play for 60 minutes with 10 men due to Brad Miles being sent off, they scored goals through Doug Whit, Jack Male, Adam Male and Taylor Jefferson.

Tomorrow sees Odd Down Reserves visit the Archie Gooch Pavilion for a 3pm kick-off.
