CHARD Town play their fifth successive away match on Saturday when they visit high-flying Bristol Telephones in the Toolstation Western League First Division (3pm).
The Telephones side, promoted from the Gloucestershire County League last season, have an experienced line-up and have won all of their six games to date, scoring 23 goals in the process.
For the second week running there is no football at Zembard Lane, as the reserves are away to Barrington in the Somerset Junior Cup (2.30pm).
For the tough trip to Bristol on Saturday, Chard manager Paul Down welcomes back Andy Holmes, Brad Miles and Jack Dicker, but Keiran Bailey and Steve Friend are unavailable.
A similarly tough challenge awaits Ilminster Town in the Somerset County League Premier Division, as they travel to early pace-setters Nailsea & Tickenham.
The hosts are unbeaten so far this season and have a goal difference of +13 from five matches, while Ilminster go into the weekend in mid-table.
