CAROLINE Faithfull, a member of the GB squad for swimmers with Down’s Syndrome, recently won five gold medals at the European Down's Syndrome Open held at the Quay’s in Southampton.
Her victories came in the 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m freestyle as well as the 100m backstroke.
Faithfull, who is 22 years old and lives in South Petherton, trains at Taunton Deane Swimming Club.
She is now training hard for the next European competition, which is set to be held later this year over in Paris.

50m freestyle - 1st; 100m freestyle - 1st; 200m freestyle - 1st; 400m freestyle - 1st; 50m backstroke - 5th; 100m backstroke - 1st.
