WITH the return of Taoufik Ben Salem following a two-match suspension, Chard Town will have a full squad to chose from for their two Easter games.

This Friday sees Chard entertain Wincanton Town in the First Division of the Toolstation Western League.

Supporters are asked to note the 1pm kick-off.

On Easter Monday, Chard visit table-toppers Wellington in the league (ko 3pm).

On Good Friday, Chard manager Paul Down, who has done a remarkable job this season, comes up against his old club Wincanton Town, where he was in charge for five years.

Chard won the reverse fixture at Wincanton 3-1 on Boxing Day and will now be looking to complete the double.

The teams should be well matched with Wincanton three points behind Chard having played a game more.

Down described the reverse against Devizes as “frustrating in a match where I felt we played well, without taking our chances.

“The referee’s decision to send off keeper Jon Hill after 17 minutes proved decisive.

“The visit of Wincanton will be a lively affair, I will be looking to use the full squad over the two Easter fixtures.”
