CHARD Sunday Ladies drew 3-3 with Taunton CS Sunday Ladies in bright and breezy conditions this morning.
Taunton Civil Service opened the scoring with a skilful individual goal from their captain.
Chard’s Charlotte Mooney then showed off her stick skills and went around several defenders before securing the equalizer.
Tess Burrows was quietly effective at the back and along with Emma Cridland they were able to keep Taunton at bay.
A breakthrough goal from the home team took them ahead until Mooney got her second.
Then after a number of shots were saved Ros Clemmans found Lois Butcher who put Chard into the lead.
The skills of Taunton’s captain were again in evidence as she slotted away the final goal to leave the result all square.
Umpire: Vince Sharpe.
