TAUNTON host their third meeting of the month next Tuesday when the six race card – with £37,000 on offer in prize money – gets underway at 2pm.

First up is the Templar’s Furlongs Conditional Jockeys Handicap over 3m ½f, the longest race of the day.

The ‘Bulldog Chase’ Novices’ Hurdle over 2m 1f is next to post at 2.30pm, followed half an hour later by the Spartan Sprint Novices’ Limited Handicap Steeple- chase over 2m 3f.

The most valuable race on the card is the Superman and War Elephant Challenge Handicap Hurdle race, at 3pm, which is a Class 3 event with £9,000 up for grabs in prizes.

The second race over the Steeplechase course is the Smokin’ Aces Chase Handicap over 2m 7½f at 4pm.

The action concludes with the Support Go Commando Charity Handicap Hurdle race at 4.30pm.

Punters are reminded that if they buy their tickets in advance online up to 10am on the day prior to racing that they can obtain generous discounts.

Racegoers are reminded that a courtesy coach departs from Taunton Railway Station two hours before racing. It returns from the course 30 minutes after the start of the final race.
