AS Ilminster’s club leagues enter the last week before the Christmas break, Tuesday Evening Triples team Ilminster N (Kevin Hamilton) are the only undefeated side in all eight leagues.

They are five points clear of their nearest rivals Ilminster B (Barry Sims) and Ilminster R (Roger Pincombe).

In the Friday night Milford & Dormor Triples League last year’s winners, Petherton B (Bill Anderson), are two points behind leaders Ilminster K (Bev Brister) with a game in hand. Sharing the lead are Ilminster H (Barry Sims).

In the Monday night St Austell Premier League shot difference separates the top two teams, Ilminster D (Rowland Garland) and Ilminster B (Pete Mattravers), with The Uglies (Kevin Hamilton) one point behind.

In the Wednesday Afternoon Mixed Triples League the runaway leaders are Ilminster H (Mike King) who are seven points away from nearest rivals Ilminster G (Roy Orme).

The Monday Afternoon’s Mixed Rink League sees Ilminster F (Barry Sims) one point clear of Ilminster B (Paddy McDonagh), with these two teams well clear of the rest at the moment.

Last year’s winners Ilminster D (Sylvia Read) top the Tuesday Ladies Triples League and are four points clear of Ilminster A (Dot Whelan) and Ilminster C (Margaret Evans).

Results in the Thursday Evening Pairs League have seen teams changing places with each other every week.

Current leader Dave Crouch is two points clear of second placed Jill Parker, with David Pugh and Rex Corbet a further point behind.

The popular Wednesday Eve-ning Rinks League has Sue’s Babes (Sue Spurway) two points clear of the Numpties (Dave Crouch) with the Inmates (Steve Webster) in third place.
