CHARD Town manager Adam Fricker is keen to get back to winning ways following a tricky few weeks when his side entertain Almondsbury UWE tomorrow (3pm).

A combination of tough fixtures and injury problems have seen the Robins pick up just two points from their last five Toolstation league matches.

And including the 5-0 defeat by Odd Down in the Somerset Premier Cup, when Fricker fielded a weakened side, Chard have conceded 13 goals in their last three matches without reply.

Fricker, however, is confident his side can get back on track after playing a host of the top clubs during a very tough run.

He said: “Even though we lost 6-0 to Cribbs on Saturday we still played some good football and I’m confident we can get back on track and push for a place in the top eight.

“Almondsbury are above us in the table but it’s a game we really should be looking to get maximum points from.”

Striker Sam Clark will be available again on Saturday following suspension while Fricker should also have the services of fellow front man Oscar Latas and goalkeeper Ollie Hutchings who has been suffering from a wrist injury.
