CHARD reserves' 6-0 defeat at Feniton in the premier division of the Fresha Devon & Exeter League on Saturday is easily summed up – unbeaten Feniton took their chances and Chard did not.
The game was still scoreless after 35 minutes, with Ed Butcher twice shooting wide for Chard in one-on-one situations and Max Westlake also missing good chances.
However, two goals in ten minutes before the interval put Feniton in the driving seat and they added two more in the first five minutes of the second half to build up a 4-0 lead.
Chard continued to squander chances and Feniton netted twice more before the end for an emphatic victory.
Chard: Joe Draper, Elliott Dyer, Callum Mooney, Rob Stubbins, Shaun Wells-Burr, Ben Mear, Dan Aplin, Dan Anjos, James Boyland, Ed Butcher, Max Westlake. Subs Ryan Parris, Kieran Bailey & Jordan Chant (all used).
