WITH the outdoor season at an end Chard’s short mat players have turned their attention to the East Devon league.
Chard have two teams entered and Chard B played their opening match away at St Teresa’s.
Unfortunately it proved a disastrous start as Chard lost 7-1 and by 84 shots to 27.
If it comes down to shot difference at the end of the competition this game could definitely be significant.
n severells lost 72-68 to Queen Camel in their played their last outdoor game of the season – a Wessex Mixed Friendly league match.
