THOUSANDS of cricket fans have seen their Friday evening plans go down the drain due to torrential rain in Taunton.
The T20 Blast fixture between Somerset and Gloucestershire, which was completely sold out, was abandoned after a 5pm inspection following incessant rainfall that has been in place since lunchtime.
If you were due to be attending, Somerset's policies on refunding tickets can be found here.
Both sides take a point each from the abandoned match, leaving the hosts on four points from as many matches.
Somerset’s next match is on Sunday at 2.30pm, when Middlesex are the visitors to the Cooper Associates County Ground.
