CHARD RFC have been forced to cancel their home friendly with Torquay Athletic tomorrow (Saturday, August 18).
The Devon side are believed to have pulled-out of the fixture earlier this week which has left Chard coach Steve Broome unhappy.
Broome said that everything was set for another key part of the club's preparations for the start of the 2012-13 season when they will take their place in South West One following back-to-back promotions.
Now they will have to wait until next Saturday (Aug 25) when they travel to face Dorchester in another scheduled friendly.
Broome is still keen to add to his squad and any players in the locality who would like to join up with Chard would be more than welcome.
Please call Broome on 01460-24234 or 07590-334659 for more information.
