CHARD Rugby Club will begin its pre-season training on Tuesday, July 10, in readiness for the start of the new 2012-13 season.
Players are asked to report to the club in Essex Close at 6.30pm when coach Steve Broome will his pre-season programme before getting down to business.
Broome will continue as playing and coaching co ordinator and Mark Parsons and Paul Nicholls will again be 1st XV captain and vice captain respectively for newly promoted Chard as they launch their first ever season in South West One.
The promoted 2nd XV, who will be in Somerset One next season, will have Matt Tinley as their skipper and Mick Duffy will be in charge of the 3rd xv next season.
