HOLYROOD Academy’s Year 9 boys rugby squad were crowned County 7-a-Side Champions at Yeovil Barbarians RFC on Friday, June 9.
The boys won all of their matches against opposing schools from across the county at the tournament.
Holyrood’s head of rugby Simon Jenkins said: “The lads were fantastic all day and represented the Academy brilliantly.
“They put their heart and soul into every performance.
“This squad continues to get better as they progress through the school, and many of the squad have started to play and train at Chard RFC, which helps their development massively.
“It was hard to pick a player of the day but Chas O’Shaughnessy, Alfred Busby, James Salaman, Harry Clifford and Lewis Hole were the standout performers.”
