HOLYROOD Academy’s Year 8 team won 30-5 at Stanchester in the district cup.
Man-of-the-match was Royston Wickham who performed a brilliant grubber kick to set himself up for a solo try.
There was also an outstanding performance from Oliver Klimpke who scored four tries with his speed and power.
Meanwhile Holyrood Year 10s beat their Stanchester counterparts 27-5 after lending some players to their under-strength opposition.
Tries were scored by Murray Deaves, Liam Bradley, Jacob Mee, Liam Wollington and man-of-the-match Arron Lewis.
