ELEVEN teams took part in a primary school netball tournament at Holyrood Academy recently.
Despite it pouring down with rain at the beginning, the competition ran smoothly with all seven of the schools playing a lot of netball throughout the afternoon.
The umpires helped assist the teams throughout the day so that everyone learned something new and had fun.
All spectators were impressed with the excellent netball that was on display throughout the competition.
Having topped their respective groups, Redstart and Manor Court battled against each other in the final, and after a long and tiring afternoon Redstart managed to come out on top and received the trophy during the presentation at the end.
Special thanks go to Sasha Taylor, Hannah Eke and Lydia Harris for helping out on the day.
