TOURNAMENT: Budding young cricketers descended on Holyrood for an indoor competition.
HOLYROOD Academy hosted the first ever Primary Indoor Cricket event on February 21.
Swanmead, Redstart, Avishayes and Manor Court competed in a mini round-robin tournament, with Swanmead and Redstart reaching the final.
It was a tight match, but Swanmead claimed victory in the last over after a fine showcase of hitting and fielding.
Afterwards all players took part in a large interactive game using the whole sports hall, and Charlotte Lamb of Swanmead was presented with a medal for outstanding effort.
