WAYNE Loveridge led the contingent of Chard Road Runners in the Combe St Nicholas PFA 10k Road Race, finishing second in 38m 23s.
Other times: Paul Masters (43m 7s), Nina Wagstaff (age category winner, 44m 26s), Paul Fraser (46m 5s), Maria Wadey (age cat. winner, 47m 28s), Ian Harris (48m 25s), Anna Drew (51m 20s), Mel Boarder (1hr 8m 29s), Vicky Musselwhite (1hr 8m 32s), Keith Rendel (1hr 22m 13s), Tracie Pulman (1hr 22m 13s), Paige Wells-Burr (age cat. winner, 1hr 40m 9s), Chan Chant 1hr 40m 9s.
In the accompanying 2k run CRR’s younger supporters all ran well including Louis Worth (10m 42s), Lola Podbery (10m 58s) and Wadey Oscar (14m 40s).
n In the Hinton St George Slay The Dragon – an off-road race – Richard Clifton finished third in 44m 10s. He was followed by Helen Baxter (1hr 2m 4s) and Gary Wheaton (1hr 8m 59s).
