LeBron James scored his 70th career triple-double as the Cleveland Cavaliers stormed to a 114-109 win against the Chicago Bulls.

Finishing with 33 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists, it was also James’ 15th triple-double of the season.

The Bulls had rallied after being behind by 17 points at half-time, but Jordan Clarkson broke the tie with 1:27 left on the clock.

The Golden State Warriors – still without star players Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant – beat the Phoenix Suns for the 13th time in a row.

Quinn Cook scored a career-high 28 points, while Kevon Looney also had a career best with 13 points in the 124-109 success.

Meanwhile, the Washington Wizards moved ahead of the Indiana Pacers in the conference standings, winning their head-to-head 109-102.

Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 19 points and six assists, while Marcin Gortat added 18 points and eight rebounds.

It was a rare victory for the Memphis Grizzles – who had lost 19 games in a row before edging the Denver Nuggets 101-94 – while the New York Knicks finally snapped a nine-game losing streak, storming past the Charlotte Hornets 124-101 in its highest scoring game this season.

The Houston Rockets continued their winning ways, taking victory for the 21st time in 22 games by beating the New Orleans Pelicans 107-101, while LaMarcus Aldridge finished with 39 points as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 117-101.

Elsewhere, the Portland Trail Blazers recorded a 12th straight win, overcoming the Detroit Pistons 100-87, and the Utah Jazz beat the Sacramento Kings 103-97 for their ninth consecutive victory.

The Brooklyn Nets won 114-106 against the Dallas Mavericks and the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Atlanta Hawks 122-117.
