ILMINSTER Town regained top spot in the Somerset County Women’s League after totally dominating their game at home to Street, who only had ten players.
Ilminster took their time to get going and the first goal taking nearly half an hour to arrive.
Once Town got in front, through debutant Colette Martin, Ilminster started to flow.
Other goals came from inspirational captain Alice Charlton (5) Jenny Frost (3), Dana Andrews, Amiee Rowe, Sarah Miller, Poppy Hookings, Emma Male (2) and Colette Martin (2).
The win took Ilminster back to the top of the league with a game in hand over second-placed bridgwater.
An impressive debut from Colette was a major bonus for Ilminster who are looking to improve the squad with a busy second half of the season ahead where they are looking for league, cup and county cup success.
