CHARD B lost 1-0 at Isca E in South East 3 of the Davis Wood league on Saturday.
Chard were sub-standard after the winter break with their passing and marking well below par.
Isca were a lot quicker to the ball and more determined in their tackling – however the only goal of the game came in the first half from a disputed penalty corner. After the interval Chard upped their game Grahame Johnson still had to pull off some fine saves while the forward were unable to create any clear-cut chances until until near the end.
