CHARD Town lost out away to Devizes Town on Tuesday night, despite taking a 20th-minute lead through Liam Cleal.

The hosts hit back to level the game before half time, through Matt Russell, before Matt Lever's goal after the break gave them all three points.

The win took Devizes up to sixth spot in the First Division table, with Chard down in 10th place.

The Robins are back in action tomorrow night (Thursday, ko 7.30pm), away to 12th-placed Bishop Sutton.

They then host Calne Town, who sit 15th, on Saturday (ko 3pm).

As for Chard Town Reserves, they were due to host Perry Street & Yonder Hill in Division 1 of the Macron Devon & Exeter League tonight, but the game has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

This Sunday (ko 2pm), the Robins Reserves travel to Beer Albion in the Grandisson Cup, the original match being abandoned at 1-1 due to a serious injury.
