CHARD Town had been due to host Ashton & Backwell United in the Toolstation Western League First Division tonight, but the match has been postponed until tomorrow.
Due to the wet condition of the pitch at Zembard Lane, it has been agreed by both teams and the Western League that the match will now be played on Thursday, April 5 (7.45pm kick-off).
Chard, who sit 12th in the First Division table, are due to play at home to Westbury United this Saturday (ko 3pm).
This is a a re-run of the fixture which was abandoned in the 89th minute, with Chard leading 4-2, to much frustration for the Robins.
