CHARD Town are hoping they will see some match action this weekend, with their previous two games - against Wincanton Town on December 23 and Bishops Lydeard on Boxing Day - having been called off.
The Robins, who are 12th in the Toolstation Western League First Division standings, are scheduled to host 11th-placed Malmesbury Victoria tomorrow (December 30, ko 3pm).
That will, however, depend on the weather, with more rain over the weekend putting the match in doubt.
Meanwhile, and again weather permitting, Ilminster Town have a home fixture with Bridgwater Town Reserves in the Somerset County League Premier Division tomorrow (ko 2pm).
The Blues, having not played a league match since November 25, sit 11th in the table; Bridgwater are 10th, but have played three more games.
