CHARD are looking for their first double of the season as Bristol Telephones make their first ever trip to the Town ground (3pm).

The Robins won 3-2 in Bristol during September when the league newcomers were flying high, but they have been inconsistent recently.

Manager Paul Down said: “They will be looking to avenge our victory at their place.”

Matt Howell is unavailable on Saturday, due to work commitments.

Reflecting on last Saturday’s draw with Keynsham, which saw Chard stretch their unbeaten run to five matches, Down said: “It was a good performance after conceding so early.

“We could have nicked it at the end, but we are beginning to show some consistency at last.”

Chard will be hoping for a response after Wednesday night's 5-1 defeat at home to Wellington in the Somerset Premier Cup.

ILMINSTER Town make the short trip to Staplegrove in the Somerset County Premier/Division One League Cup on Saturday (ko 2.30pm).

Ilminster Reserves are at home to Dunkeswell in Division 5 of the Devon & Exeter League (ko 2.15pm).
