CHARD Town entertain fourth-placed Keynsham Town tomorrow (ko 3pm), looking to complete their first ‘double’ of the season.

And on Wednesday (November 8), the Robins are at home again in the second round of the Somerset Premier Cup, when neighbours and Western League Premier side Wellington visit Zembard Lane (ko 7.30pm).

Reflecting on last Saturday’s first home win of the season against Corsham, Chard manager Paul Down said: “It was not a classic, but a valuable three points."

Looking ahead to this weekend’s match against Keynsham, he said: “They are a very combative outfit with two or three match winners, so we will have to be at our best and replicate our form and great result at Keynsham to gain all three points.”

Dave Duarte has work commitments at present, but Matt Howell - who was unwell last weekend - should be back in contention, and Town are hopeful Liam Cleal will have got over his calf strain.

Taoufik Ben Salem is a doubt with a nasty eye injury.

Chard Reserves, without a game last weekend, have a tough trip to Topsham to play University of Exeter Reserves in Division 1 of the Macron Devon & Exeter League (2.15pm).
