ILMINSTER Town manager Darren Manley says Saturday’s home clash with Yatton Athletic (2pm) is “a massive game” in his side’s battle to avoid the drop in Somerset County Premier.

Ilminster sit fourth from bottom in the division, just six points behind Saturday’s opponents – and Manley says his players are beginning to show some good signs ahead of an important second-half of the season.

He said: “It is a massive game but the most important thing is we have a full squad to pick from, apart from Alex Paul who has a hamstring injury.

"We got a great point at Cutters and we had the chances to take more but it was a good performance and we’re looking forward to playing Yatton now.

“The lads are buzzing and have really got their heads down lately and are beginning to show some good signs.”
