ILMINSTER Town manager Darren Manley is hoping his side can continue their good run of form when Weston St Johns visit today (2.30pm).

The Blues have picked up four points from their previous two league games – and manager Manley says they won’t be letting the wet weather upset their rhythm.

He said: “We lost to Weston 3-2 at the start of the season and had five or six players out that day. We’re a bit stronger now than we were then.

“Everyone’s in the same boat at the moment with the weather, we have just got to try our best.

“We have upped the training to twice a week but the problem is everyone is trying to book the 3G pitches, they’re always fully booked. You’ve got to predict the weather a week before so you can get a slot that isn’t in the unsociable hours.”
