ILMINSTER will be starting afresh after being relegated from Premier One of the West of England league last season.
Under the continued captaincy of Sam Spurway they begin their new campaign in Premier Two with a home game against Thornbury on Saturday (12.30pm).
Their relegation means they will be playing in the same division as Chard this year, with the first match between the two sides being held at the Recreation Ground on May 17.
Spurway said: “There is a massive gulf between the two divisions so hopefully we are another year old and wiser and we can compete.”
