ROYAL Oak Faces have pulled a 12-point advantage at the top of Division One in the Ilminster Men’s Skittles League.

They defeated The Cricketers 11-1 with a four-pin success. D. Whaites was the star of the show for the Faces with 45, while highest for the Cricketers were M. Vickery and S. Lonton with 42.

Carnival Clingons stayed second despite an 11-1 defeat to the Nomads. On form for the Nomads was J. Thomas with 63 including 17 and 14 spares. The Nomads had ten spares between them including a 94-hand. C. Miller, the Nomads’ sticker-up, played well and knocked 54 including a 16-spare.

For the Clingons, A. Berry top scored with 67 including three spares.

The Ashill Inn side took a close win away to the Royals with a one-pin victory. The Ashill side won 10-2 with B. Paull top score with 46.

Highest for the Royals was C. Gabe with 42.

Rocky’s Rollers are ten points clear at the top of Division Two, but have played a game more than second-placed Ashill Boys.
