ILMINSTER Ladies progressed to the fourth round of the national triples with a defeat of St Andrews from Weston Super Mare.

Meanwhile the club's men progressed to the third round of the county fours at the expense of Watchet.

In their first of the Somerset ladies league game of 2014 Ilminster lost 57-29 to Taunton BC.

On Sunday Ilminster welcomed Crewkerne for a friendly. They won on all five rinks and by 120 shots to 56.
