FOOTBALL: Ilminster back in training

ILMINSTER Town FC will be reporting back for pre-season training on Thursday, July 2, at the Recreation Ground in Canal Way, Ilminster, from 6.30pm.

Training will be held thereafter on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

New and old players most welcome to attend.

Ilminster will be looking to make a concerted bid for promotion from Division One of the Somerset County League in the new season.

They looked as possible promotion contenders for much of last season, but faded in the closing stages due to a hectic backlog of fixtures.
