SOMERSET'S final match of the Vitality Blast group stage is to be screened live on Sky Sports on Thursday evening.

Having won their last seven T20 matches in succession, Somerset are guaranteed a place in the knockout stages and need just a point from the trip to Kent to seal a home quarter-final as it stands.

Kent are going well in this year's competition themselves and sit third with a game in hand on Somerset - they also comfortably won July's reverse fixture by eight wickets in Taunton.

That was the latest in a series of defeats for Somerset against Kent, who have become a bogey side for the Cidermen in recent years.

Kent have won 13 of the last 14 matches between the two sides in all formats, while Somerset have not been victorious at Canterbury since 2009.

Last year's corresponding fixture was also televised, and the hosts won a rain-affected fixture by seven wickets.

Thursday's clash begins at 7pm, with coverage starting on Sky Sports Cricket at 6.30pm.
