CHARD Town Football Club held their end of season Presentation Evening in the Clubroom on Saturday, May 26.

Chairman Lyndsey Gage introduced the first team manager Paul Down and Reserve team manager Ivor Hutchings to a large gathering of players, committee members and supporters.

Both managers were thanked for the work put in and a successful season for both teams, together with the efforts of all the players and all who worked for the club off the field.

Ivor Hutchings spoke about the achievements of the reformed Reserves side and their excellent record to finish mid-table in the Macron Devon & Exeter Division 1 league table, culminating in winning the Seaton Challenge Cup.

He presented the awards as follows:
Supporters' Player of the Season: Ryan Mason
Players' Player of the Season: Ryan Mason
Manager's player of the Season: Jake Board
Top goalscorer: Octavio Lima

Paul Down thanked all connected with the club over the two years he had been first team manager and gave a summary of the achievements of the team over the season, in particular highlighting several excellent results and a creditable ninth-placed finish in the Toolstation Western League First Division.

Managers' Player of the Season: Andrew Holmes
Top goalscorer: James Boyland
Clubman of the Year: Steve Friend

In his last season as manager of Chard Town FC, a presentation was made to Down by chairman Lyndsey Gage.
