AN enthusiastic Chard & District Swimming team travelled to Exmouth for an inter-club friendly in preparation for the first round of the National Arena League on October 14.
The gala was a great opportunity for swimmers to trial the events they may be asked to swim in the Area League.
Five other clubs were present and Chard finished second after a total of 50 events with a number of excellent personal best times.
Swimmers competing for Chard & District were: Ben Greenslade, Mille Downes, Abi Greenslade, Briana Barrand, Grace Lambert, Helen Underwood, Abbie Herbert, Bella Young, Mia Huntley, Kaitlyn Flannigan, Will Hawkins, Henry Birchall, Harry Byrnes, Harrison Larcombe, Ed Sims, Aeron Tollett, Oliver Collins, Lily Sims, Alice Clark, Phoebe Clark, Megan Herbert, Xanthe Dyer, Jamie Pullinger, Ollie Thorogood, Malcolm Greenslade, Ollie Bright, Joss Copeman.
