Members taking part ranged in ages from 6 to 13 in the junior swim, and from 15 to 50+ in the adult category.

Millie Downes, 13, was first girl in the junior swim, and Jimmy Brett, also 13, was first boy.

Others taking on the junior swim included Phoebe and Saffron Clark (13), Alice Clark (11), Henry Birchall (10), William Birchall (8), Ellie Birchall (6), Jack Pellow (12), Isabella Pellow (10) and Emily Yates (12).

In the adult swim, coach Malcolm Greenslade came in first, with others finishing in the top few including Paul Harrison (18), Simon Davis (15), Ollie Thorogood (21) and Flo Swan (18), plus Hope Horsfield (18) and Lauren Harrison (20).

Congratulations to all who took part and supported the RNLI, some in their first open water event.
