COREY Anderson, Somerset's signing for this season's NatWest T20 Blast, took three wickets for New Zealand against England in Cardiff, but the Champions Trophy hosts won by 87 runs to make the semi-finals.
All-rounder Anderson took 3-55 off nine overs as England made 310 all out, led by Joe Root (64) and former King's College pupil Jos Buttler (61no).
Anderson claimed the wickets of Eoin Morgan (caught by Luke Ronchi), Root (dragged on) and Moeen Ali (caught by Trent Boult).

New Zealand's reply got off to a bad start, as Ronchi went for a duck, only for Kane Williamson to hit a fine 87.
But when Williamson departed (caught behind by Buttler off Mark Wood), the Black Caps struggled, going from 158-3 to 194-6.
Anderson made 10 off 29 deliveries, but was then caught on the boundary by Alex Hales off Liam Plunkett - who ended with 4-55 off 9.3 overs - to leave New Zealand 211-8.

England finished their opponents off, all out for 223, and the 87-run victory puts them into the semi-finals.
