Axminster Hospital Cup final
Chard Town 4, Budleigh Salterton 0
CHARD Town finished their season with an emphatic victory in the Axminster Hospital Cup final.
Facing South West Peninsula Division 1 East League side Budleigh Salterton, the Robins only took nine minutes to take the lead, as captain Taoufik Ben-Salem netted.
It was 2-0 just five minutes later, as Boyland got on the scoresheet, and they maintained their two-goal lead through to half time.
Boyland scored his second on 66 minutes, and Andrew Holmes wrapped it up in the 70th minute.

The cup victory caps off a successful season for Paul Down's side, who finished 10th in the Western League First Division, a creditable position given the upheaval caused by previous manager Adam Fricker departing for Bridport with several of the Robins’ first team players.
