AVISHAYES Falcons Under-15s have made a flying start in the Yeovil and District Youth League after a three year absence.
They kicked off with a 5-0 victory over Ash Rovers last Sunday week before following up with a 10-2 midweek win over Bruton.
Then on Sunday they sealed the hat-trick with an 8-1 victory over Ilminster.
Ilminster only had the bare 11 players and playing uphill in the second half they faced a tough challenge.
An unfortunate own goal by Ilminster put the Falcons 3-0 up at half time.
Ilminster never gave up and were rewarded by the last goal of the match by Ashley Hartnell.
Avishayes goalscorers were Finlay Edwards (2), Matt Bawler, Luke Young, Harrison Morris, Owen Ladd and Nathan Johnson.
The Falcons continue their campaign against Wessex in Glastonbury on Sunday.
